Cycle Messenger World Championships

What’s going on: This is the ultimate urban cycling competition – In a rather obscure event, hundreds of the world’s best Bike Couriers battle it out over races, rides, sprints, trick comps and skid comps! Not only is it a sporting championship, it is a showcase that celebrates messenger culture and its impact on modern urban society. There are a bunch of galas, parties, markets and shows planned for spectators and participants – so what are you waiting for – on ya bike!

What’s going on: Brunswick St vs Chapel St, beards vs bottle blondes and tatts vs tans – the north-south divide is a rivalry that runs deeper than the Yarra. Pick your favourite and join us for the Best of Both Sides.
Best Of Both Sides Festival (BOBS) is a week long cross-city party hosted by Lucky Coq (Chapel Street, Windsor) and Bimbo Deluxe (Brunswick Street, Fitzroy). Along with the sister venues’ everyday undertakings (DJ’s, $4 pizzas, comfort, good times) BOBS Festival will be jam-packed with a line-up of the very best in electronic culture, visual entertainment and booze!
