What’s going on: Dreamgirls is the award-winning musical production from the US. It was inspired by Diana Ross and the Supremes, so needless to say, it will have some fantastic tunes for you to bop along to. Dreamgirls premiered on Broadway in 1981. What’s going on: The Bail Out is Whitelion’s national fundraising and awareness campaign. It provides a unique opportunity to step into the shoes of a young person that has been disconnected from our community due to abuse and neglect, drug addiction and poverty. The Bail Out event exposes ‘inmates’ to life on the inside by simulating prison life – being stripped of possessions, fingerprinted, photographed and simulated court appearancebefore a Magistrate and being sentenced to some cell time. The idea is to round up donations and raise your own bail out funds.
