What’s going on: Get lost in light exploring the length of Gertrude Street during this amazing festival. Over 35 different sites, buildings, laneways, footpaths and even tree trunks are illuminated with site-specific, curated projections. It is here you are able to see familiar spaces in new and truly reimagined ways!

What’s going on: Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story is set on New York’s Upper West Side in the mid-1950s where racial and social tensions run high. A poignant, provocative and emotionally powerful piece of theatre, it is often said it was the greatest musical ever written, although we’ll let you be the judge of that!
