What’s going on: There’s a new market in town – yay – Hank Marvin (cockney slang for starvin’) which is what you will want to be when you visit, because there is going to be an epic array of food trucks, fresh produce and community stalls each week. Approximately 40 stalls and a 24 metre pop-up dining hall will be installed in the lovely surrounds of Alma Park each Saturday from now on – That’s what you call awesome, people.

The dinner serves as a concluding celebration of Good Neighbour Month, a month where the city is reminded of good neighbourliness. All proceeds from the dinner go to funding Urban Seed’s work of fostering a sense of home, especially for those experiencing homelessness, addiction, mental illness and isolation.
